This series of videos are still being created, but we're pausing to write our "Date to Win" book and to promote Chuck's dating model and our "Marriage Material" marriage-prep model! Enjoy these videos for now, and join our email list (contact form below) for updates on our book. Or, contact us with questions. We'd love to hear from you!

Chuck and Betsy Stokes met at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama as freshmen and married four years later, just two weeks after graduation. Betsy began her career in editing at Southern Living, while Chuck earned a Masters of Divinity from Beeson Divinity School at Samford.
Chuck pursued his PhD in sociology at the University of Texas at Austin, while Betsy pursued freelance writing and editing, as well as their two new little ones. (Those little ones are now college students!)
In Austin, thanks to the Center for Relational Care (www.relationalcare.org), Chuck and Betsy learned the amazing skills of Intimacy Theory, a counseling approach developed by Dr. David Ferguson and Dr. Bruce Walker.
Today, Chuck is teaching at Samford (back to our beloved alma mater!) as a full professor of sociology, specializing in how family practices impact faith formation, the influence of popular media, and the formation (and failure or success) of romantic relationships. Betsy works as a senior copywriter for CanaVox, a secular, reason-based think tank that engages modern culture through social science, philosophy, and natural law.
